Grace Christian split two games last week, a 17-0 win over Laurel Home School and a 6-4 loss to Starkville Christian.
Grant Bontrager and Alex Taylor combined on a six-inning two-hitter with 12 strikeouts against Laurel Home School. Bontrager also went 4-4 with a double, three singles, three runs scored and two RBIs.
Russell Chappell had four hits, four RBIs and scored twice. Justin Mast and Kyle Borntrager both contributed three hits to the Eagles’ 15 hit attack.
Taylor went the distance in the loss to Starkville Christian, allowing three earned runs on seven hits in seven innings, with nine strikeouts. Mast had two hits and two RBIs and Bontrager scored twice.
The Eagles concluded the season Tuesday with a game at Starkville Christian.
