The Grace Christian baseball team improved to 14-3 with wins over Starkville Christian 6-2 and Meridian Home School 13-2.
Alex Taylor pitched a three hitter with 10 strikeouts against Starkville Christian. The Eagles had nine hits, including two by Taylor and a homer run off the bat of Brandon Mast.
Mast was on the mound in the Meridian Home School game that lasted five innings. He allowed no earned runs on four hits, with 12 strikeouts, and drove in two runs, Grant Bontrager had a single and double, drove in four runs and scored twice, Taylor had two hits and scored three runs and Kyle Borntrager drove in two.
A scheduled game with Jackson Victors last week was rained out and will not be made up,
Grace Christian will complete the season with a game at New Summit in Jackson Thursday and a home game at 4:30 p.m. Monday with Starkville Christian.
