Grace Christian School had two easy wins last week, defeating Golden Triangle Home School 14-0 in three innings and New Summit of Jackson 16-0 in five innings. The Eagles received strong pitching performances in both games to improve to 3-2.
Justin Mast pitched hitless ball against Golden Triangle with five strikeouts. Gideon dominated New Summit, fanning 11 while allowing one hit.
White had a single and double, scored two runs and drove in three against Golden Triangle. Alex Taylor had two singles, drove in three runs and scored twice and Mast singled twice, drove in two runs and scored two.
The Eagles broke open the New Summit game with a six run second inning that featured a lead off single by Hunter Smith, a two-run double by White and a running scoring triple by Grant Bontrager.
Grace Christian played Golden Triangle Tuesday and have a road game Thursday with Meridian Home School.
