Madison Klein and Jasmine Bonty of French Camp have been named to the 10-member Region 5-1A All District team and teammate Jordan Carter won the Sportsmanship Award.
Klein, a senior, led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 21.7 points per game. Bonty, a freshman, averaged 13.7 points and 9.4 rebounds and Carter, a sophomore, 5.9 points and 5.0 rebounds.
Also named to the All-District team were Jakyra Young, Kiara Brown, Santisja Rockett and Robriana Clark of region champion McAdams, Akilah Erving, Dejah Merritt and Chiquita Merritt of Ethel, and Jada Steen of Coffeeville.
Erving, a senior, was chosen as region MVP. She averaged 24.9 points. Young was named Offensive Player of the Year, Cavian Bolton of McAdams Defensive Player of the Year and Michael Huffman of McAdams Coach of the Year.
