The French Camp Academy tennis team won two matches last week, defeating Noxubee County and Leake Central by identical scores of 6-1.
“We're doing well,” said coach Larry Mincher.
French Camp won four matches against Noxubee County 6-0, 6-0 – Grace Ann Wade in girls singles, Cayley Tiller and Anna Lee Bain at No. 1 girls doubles, Kate Hudson and McKinley Wade at No. 2 girls doubles and Cameron McDaniel and Raney Peacock in mixed doubles.
French Camp's other victories were by Brennan McGlothin and Jeffrey Jones at No. 1 boys doubles 7-5, 7-5 and Jacob Creswell and Brady Peacock at No. 2 boys doubles 6-1, 6-0.
The Panthers have a match scheduled for Thursday at Grenada.
