A 17-5 loss to Eupora evened the French Camp baseball record at 3-3. The Panthers jumped out to a quick lead with three runs in the first and trailed 5-4 through four innings before Eupora broke the game open with five runs in the fifth.
French Camp managed only two hits, by John Weeks and Colin Perry, but received 16 base on balls. Logan Burchfield walked four times and scored twice. Weeks and Seth Box had RBIs.
Zack Cooper, with a homer, single and five RBIs, and Tanner Knight, with two singles, two doubles, four runs scored and three RBIs, led a 15-hit attack for Eupora.
French Camp began Region 5-1A play Tuesday with a game at defending state champion Nanih Waiya and will be home against Nanih Waiya Thursday.
