Eupora’s basketball season came to an end last week as both team’s were eliminated in the opening round of the Division 2-2A tournament.
The Lady Eagles suffered a heartbreaking 36-35 loss to Bruce while the Eagles fell 85-64 in the nightcap.

The Trojans outscored the Eagles in every period and gradually pulled away to take a 21-point win in the opening round of the Division 2-2A tournament.
Bruce led 15-12 at the end of the first and 31-26 at the half. The Trojans continued to pull way with a 54-point second half as they outscored the Eagles 27-17 in the third and 27-21 in the fourth.
Cam’Ron Culpepper led Eupora with 13 points while Kaleb Rush had 12 points. D.J. Patterson had 11 points and Zak Morris chipped in nine points.

The Lady Eagles ended their season with another tough loss, dropping a one-point decision to the Lady Trojans in the opening round of the Division 2-2A Tournament on Tuesday.
Kyla Patterson led Eupora with 15 points while Ta’Kiyah Townsend added 12 points in the season-ending loss.
