Among the awards handed out at the Holmes Community football awards banquet held on the Goodman Campus earlier this month, was the Colonel Bradley MacNealy Leadership Award that went to former East Webster standout Luke Wilson.
Wilson was expected to sign with Mississippi College this week. Look for more on Wilson in next week's Progress-Times.
State/Region XXIII awards received included: Connor McKay, First Team All-State and All-Region; Cedrick Moffett and Tovell Henderson, Jr., Second Team All-State; and Jack Chavis, Charvez Embry, Kendrick Haynes, Tavian Johnson and Dylan Kelly, Honorable Mention All-State.
Team awards included: Jack Chavis, Ras Branch Award; Charvez Embry, Milton Lee Olive Courage and Character Award; and Wilson, Colonel Bradly MacNealy Leadership Award.
Coach Jeff Koonz thanked the players for a great season, and former Bulldog Colonel Bradly MacNealy also spoke to the players as well.
