After losing three straight games to start the season, the Wolverines won two straight to close out last week.
After a 6-4 loss to French Camp, East Webster beat Bruce 10-0 on Tuesday and then hammered Winona 14-2 on Thursday.
Weather washed out another pair of games to begin this week. East Webster will now play Friday against Pearl in Kosciusko. The Wolverines will host Kosciusko on Monday, March 18.
East Webster 14, Winona 2
The Wolverines took advantage of six errors and five walks as they took a run-rule win over the Tigers on Thursday.
East scored two in the first, eight in the third and four in the fourth while Winona scored two in the top of the fourth.
East Webster had eight hits in the contest as Jon Austin Roberts was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Gavin Edwards was the only other multiple hitter, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Wes Silver had a two-run home run while Sloan Hillhouse had a two-run double. Cameron Pilgrim walked twice and scored three runs while Jase Grantham had two RBIs and scored two runs. Grantham and Edwards each stole three bases while Parker Burleson and Hillhouse each had two stolen bases.
Roberts got the start and pitched four perfect innings while striking out six. Kainan Reed faced three batters and walked all three and gave up two runs. Hillhouse pitched the final inning and gave up one run on two walks and a hit.
East Webster 10, Bruce 0
The Wolverines allowed only one hit on the mound and used a big seven-run inning to shut out division foe Bruce on Tuesday.
East scored one in the first, fourth and sixth along with seven in the third.
East Webster had eight hits on the day as Hasting Gibson led the way, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs. Jesse Roberts was also 2-for-3. John Wesley Hardin had a double and drove in two runs while Cameron Pilgrim doubles and scored. Wes Silver walked twice and scored while Jase Grantham and Jon Austin Roberts each singled and scored.
On the mound, Gray McCarter was dominant as he allowed just one baserunner, striking out nine in six innings on just 79 pitches to pick up the win.
French Camp 6, East Webster 4
The Wolverines used five pitchers as the Panthers took a tight two-run win on Monday.
East Webster led 2-0 after plating on in the top of the first and third. French Camp scored three in the bottom of the third and two in the fifth to go up 5-2. East Webster added single runs in the sixth and seventh while French Camp added one in the sixth to take the win.
East Webster had seven hits in the contest, led by Wes Silver who was 3-for-4. John Austin Roberts was 2-for-2 with a double and two walks. Hastings Gibson had a double and drove in a run while Cameron Pilgrim scored twice and Luke McKee walked twice.
John Austin Roberts pitched just one inning, giving up one hit on just 13 pitches and striking out one. Kainan Reed pitched the second and strike out one in just 14 pitches. Will Gaskin pitched the third and gave up three runs on four hits and two walks. Gavin Edwards pitched two innings and gave up two runs on three hits while Sloan Hillhouse pitched the final inning and gave up one run on two hits while striking out two.
