Eupora split a pair of games this past week, despite struggling at the plate in both games.
Eupora had just three hits in a 5-3 win over French Camp on Monday and lost 8-1 as they were no-hit by West Point on Friday.
Eupora will play Indianola Academy on Monday at 6 p.m. in the Golden Triangle Tournament at Starkville Academy. On Tuesday, Eupora will play Pillow Academy at 11 a.m. at Heritage Academy and then take on the host Patriots at 1 p.m. The Eagles will then enter bracket play on Wednesday in the tournament.

French Camp 3
The Eagles scored two runs in the fifth inning and held off the Panthers to grab a win on Monday.
Each team scored three runs in the third inning and Eupora scratched two runs in the fifth to take the win.
Eupora had just three hits in the contest, compared to six for French Camp. Ian Garrard had a single and drove in two runs for the Lady Eagles and also scored a run. Zack Cooper also had a single, drove in a run and scored a run. Carter May had Eupora’s other hit while Al Dumas, Tanner Knight and Brett May each scored runs. Cade Adkins and Ash Dumas each drove in runs.
May got the start on the mound and pitched five innings, giving up three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three. Adkins pitched the final two innings as he gave up one hit and four walks while striking out five.
West Point 8,
Eupora 1
The Eagles didn’t have a hit and committed five errors as they lost to the Class 5A Green Wave on Friday.
West Point scored two in the third and one in the fifth before breaking the game open with five runs in the sixth. Eupora scored its one run in the fourth.
Al Dumas scored Eupora’s only run as he walked twice.
Tanner Knight pitched the first three innings and gave up two unearned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out four. Brett May pitched two innings and gave up one run on two hits and two walks.
