The SEC will likely have at least one spot in the College Football Playoffs and 10 bowl spots to fill this year. At this point eight teams have the six wins needed to qualify for a bowl spot, with two others just one win short. Mississippi State needs a win over Ole Miss and Missouri a win over Arkansas to improve to 6.6.
The remaining bowl eligible teams and their current records are as follows: LSU (1-0), Alabama (10-1), Georgia (10-1), Florida (9-2), Auburn (8-3), Texas A&M (7-4), Tennessee (6-5), and Kentucky (6-5).
SEC bowl tie-ins for 2019 are the Sugar Bowl, Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Belk Bowl, Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, Outback Bowl, TaxSlayer Bowl, Texas Bowl, Jared Birmingham Bowl, and Walk-On’s Independence Bowl.

BRADLEY LEADS RAGIN’ CAJUNS
Former Choctaw County football standout JaMarcus Bradley caught five passes for 96 yards including a 12-yard scoring reception in University of Louisiana Lafayette’s 52-3 win over Troy on Saturday.
The win clinched the Sun Belt West Division title for the Ragin’ Cajuns to 9-2 on the season with the regular season Saturday at home against the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Bradley leads the team in all three major receiving categories with 44 catches for 633 yards and six touchdowns.

HCC EVENS MARK AT 3-3
The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to .500 (3-3) on the season last Thursday with a 77-66 home win over the Baton Rouge Community College Bears. Holmes returns to action after the Thanksgiving break on Dec. 2 at East Central.
The Bulldogs led 46-34 at halftime before Baton Rouge outscored Holmes in the second half, 32-31, but it wasn't enough. Tyler Williams led the Bulldogs with 13 points while David Brown had 12 and Kaleb Higgins and Jaylen Lester each had 11. Josiah Lewis pulled in 14 rebounds while Williams had eight.

USM’s DORBECK HONORED
USM football center Drake Dorbeck of Vicksburg was named the first Golden Eagle to win the Kent Hull Trophy as the best offensive lineman in college football in Mississippi. The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame will also announce the winner of the annual C-Spire Conerly Trophy given to the best college football player on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

FULL SEC FOOTBALL SLATE
All 14 Southeastern Conference Football team will be playing this week, with seven of the nine games being traditional rivalries, with the other two being SEC conference match-ups.
Ole Miss and Start open the week on Thursday night with a 6:30 p.m. with the Egg Bowl which will be shown on ESPN. Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Missouri will visit Arkansas for a CBS contest.
There are seven contests on Saturday, highlighted by Iron Bowl between Alabama and homestanding Auburn at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.
There are three games set for 11 a.m. with South Carolina host No. 3 Clemson on ESPN, Georgia visiting Georgia Tech at 11 a.m. on ABC and Kentucky hosting Louisville on the SEC Network.
The remaining games have Tennessee hosting Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. on the SEC Network, No. 1 LSU hosting Texas A&M on ESPN and No. 11 Florida entertaining Florida State on the SEC Network.

SHELTON TOPS HCC WOMEN
The homestanding Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell 74-49 in a rare Friday afternoon game to the Shelton State Community College.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 2-5 overall. Holmes will travel to East Central on Dec. 2 after returning home from the Thanksgiving break.
Jordyn Manning led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points while Gabrielle Bunch had nine.
Brysa Maxwell led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 rebounds.
