The Choctaw County volleyball team dropped two matches last week against larger schools. The Lady Chargers were defeated by Starkville 25-9, 26-24 25-17 and by New Hope 25-17, 25-27, 25-9, 25-23.
Caden Miles served 100 percent for Choctaw County in both matches. Against Starkville, LaGenesis Johnson had four digs, one solo block and a block assist and Leah Hammons had four digs.
Miles also had 13 assists against New Hope, Johnson had two block assists and hit .389, Macy Clarie Cagle had nine digs, Veronica Molina eight digs and Addie Stacy one solo block and two block assists.
Choctaw County has a home match with Kemper County Thursday.
