This Sunday The AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs will face the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The Kansas City Chiefs finished the season with a 12-4 record with wins over the Jaguars, Raiders (twice) Ravens, Lions, Broncos (twice), Vikings, Chargers (twice), Patriots, and the Bears, with losses to the Texans, Titans, Packers and Colts. The Chiefs are led by last season’s MVP, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who passed for 4,031 yards and 26 touchdowns in the regular season while only playing in 14 games.
The Chiefs defense is led my Tyran Matieu and Mississippi State alumni, defense lineman Chris Jones. The Chiefs have thrived on the pass game with the shifty receiver, Tyreke Hill. The defense has improved throughout the season after many games being cost by the struggling defense.
The 49ers finished the season with a 13-3 record with wins over the Buccaneers, Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Rams (twice), Redskins, Panthers, Cardinals (twice), Packers, Saints, and tSeahawks, with losses to the Seahawks, Ravens, and Falcons.
The 49ers are led by quarterback, Jimmy Garopalo and the No. 1 defense in the NFL. Garapalo passed for 3,978 yards and 27 touchdowns. The defense is led by possible Defensive Rookie of the Year, Nick Bosa, and arguably one of the best defensive backs of all time, Richard Sherman.
I predict because of the struggling Chiefs defense that the San Francisco 49ers will win the Super Bowl 38-28.
