The Warriors used a ball-control offense and stingy defense to take a 10-0 win over French Camp on Friday night.

For the Warriors and coach James Courtney, it was just good to get that first win.

Noxapater Tigers look to claw the Rams

With quarterback K.D. Carter coming back, the Noxapater Tigers felt like they had a chance against West Lowndes.

But when Carter left the game, so did the Tigers hopes as West Lowndes ran away with a 56-0 win on Friday night.

The Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season and will travel to Vardaman in a district contest.

Patriots improve to 4-1 with 34-7 victory

The Winston Patriots visited former head coach Junior Graham's stomping grounds last Friday night at Winona Christian.

But when the dust had settled, it was Coach Graham's Stars that were stomped as the Patriots won the contest 34-7.

2021 Sanderson Farms Championship set

The 2021 Sanderson Farms Championship will be held next week at the Jackson Country Club. The 2020 champion Sergio Garcia will be back to defend his crown. Garcia also won the 2017 Masters Championship. Additionally in the field is Mississippian Andy Ogletree of the Little Rock community.
