The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) has issued a new start time rule for this football season. Due to the heat, football games in August and September will begin at 7:30 p.m. Heat time-outs will still be enforced. Beginning in October, football games will revert back to 7 p.m. kickoffs.
