Winston falls in heartbreaker to Winona 22-14

It's true that the Winston Patriots are 0-2 on the season!! BUT, they have opened the season with two very strong opponents in their respective districts. Winston fell to a powerful Leake team in their opener, that came from a 30-6 halftime deficit to win over Jackson Acacemy 47-37.

Lady Eagles pick up three wins in busy volleyball week

The Grace Christian School volleyball team got the season going in a big way last week, taking part in seven matches. GCS split a pair of matches during the week – losing to Hartfield Academy 25-3, 25-11, and 25-16, before bouncing back to defeat Heritage Academy 25-25, 25-7, and 25-13.

Lady Pats clinch spot in North State tourney

There was a loss for the Winston Academy Lady Patriots this week, but the team still took a step forward in the district. Following a loss earlier in the week to district favorite Leake Academy, the Patriots battled back and got wins over Heritage Academy and East Rankin Academy to clinch a spot in the North State tournament.
