Second quarter hurts Eagles in loss to visiting Union

A year ago, the Eupora Eagles ran into a buzzsaw when they went up against Union with the Yellow Jackets taking home a big 42-9 win. The Eagles met a similar outcome on Friday night. Union turned a big second quarter into a blowout win in Eupora as they scored 28 in the second frame and went on to a 48-0 victory.

Eupora set to host Nanih Waiya Thursday

Eupora took a couple of volleyball losses on the chin last week but with good effort. The Lady Eagles began the week by facing off with Class 5A Neshoba Central. The Lady Rockets took a win from the Lady Eagles the week prior and got another one in straight sets against the Class 2A Eupora team when they won 25-15, 25-16 and 25-16.
