Louisville athletics on COVID temporary shutdown

Louisville athletics have officially been shut down for the rest of 2020. Principal Danya Turner announced last week that the school would be transitioning to virtual learning until December 18 due to issues in the school and around the county with COVID-19. Turner also announced that athletics would not resume until January 1.

Its college football championship weekend for 10 conferences

The College football regular season will close this weekend and bowl season begins also on Saturday night. Ten conference championship games will be decided, with three on Friday night and seven more on Saturday. The Frisco Bowl will be the first bowl game, which will be played on Saturday.

Choctaw sees some court action along with FCA

The Choctaw County boys basketball team played one game last week, a 57-37 loss to Winona. The Lady Chargers did not play and neither team will play again until after the new year. The Chargers were shorthanded against Winona without three starters. Calvin Roberts scored 22 points.
