LHS baseball team prepares for week ahead Choctaw Chargers

After winning a couple of district games the week prior, the Louisville Wildcats took a step back last week.

LHS played a home and home with Class 4A, Region 4 opponent Choctaw Central but came up short in both games. The Wildcats also had a setback against Class 2A Eupora later in the week.

With a division championship on the line, things didn’t look well for the Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors after a 4-2 loss to Choctaw County on Monday.

But the Lady Warriors bounced back and took a 12-2 win over the Lady Chargers on Thursday to split the series and earn the tiebreaker advantage.

Nanih Waiya Warriors ready to take on Chargers

The Nanih Waiya baseball team grabbed two out of three wins this past week on the diamond.

Nanih Waiya took an 8-7 walk-off win over French Camp on Monday when Eli Stanton stole home to give the Warriors the win.

The Warriors then beat rival Noxapater 17-0 on Thursday before falling 10-0 to 2A power Lake on Saturday.
