Grace Christian fall to Nanih Waiya, move to 1-2

The Grace Christian Lady Eagles went 0-2 this past week, falling to 1-2 on the season. The Lady Eagles spent this weekend at the Tuscaloosa Christian Cotton Classic, however results did not meet press deadlines.

From Wildcats to Bulldogs Holmes Community College has four players from Louisville High School suiting up this year for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs open the season on Sept. 7 with Laterrius Haynes, Jarvis Rush, Christavious Savior and Jeremiah Kirk on the field for the Bulldogs.

Warriors drop to 1A, face Sebastapol and Puckett in jamboree

Last season, the Nanih Waiya football team battled injuries and a rugged Class 2A schedule.

But the Warriors dropped back down to Class 1A and bring back a ton of experience from last year’s team.

That has veteran coach James Courtney excited about the upcoming season as the Warriors prepare for the season opener.
