Warriors add to the win column against French Camp and Ethel

The Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors piled up two more wins last week.

The Lady Warriors got 69 points in two games from Nyshea Hoskin as they beat French Camp 51-26 and Ethel 64-48.

Noxapater splits wins with Ethel, awaits weather to play

The Noxapater boys picked up a big district win last week in their lone action.

The Noxapater boys took a 65-57 win over Ethel while the Lady Tigers fell 48-41 to Ethel.

Last week’s game with Pisgah was cancelled and the Friday game with Velma Jackson had to be cancelled because of bats in the Velma Jackson gym.

Patriots, Lady Patriots walk away with the win against Carroll

A two-game set against the Carroll Academy didn’t come to fruition thanks to severe weather, but the Winston Academy Patriots made the most of their first matchup against the Rebels.

Both boys and girls teams were able to come away with victories with the boys earning their first district victory of the year.
