Cello concert scheduled for French Camp Oct. 3

The public is invited to a cello concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at French Camp Presbyterian Church. The church is located on School Street, one block south of Main Street in French Camp. The concert is free and anyone who loves beautiful music should put it on their calendar. The featured artist will be cellist Dr. Amy Catron.

Manasco delivers Cross of Christ devotional message

He read, ”If my people who are called by my name.” Manasco explained that if we want God to heal our land, the change in our country starts in our hearts and in our homes.

Mathiston 12U All-Stars win Grand Slam state tournament

The Mathiston 12U All-Stars swept through the 12U Grand Slam State Tournament in Columbus over the weekend of June 22-23, winning five games over two days to defend their state title. The Mathiston 12U team won the Grand Slam All-Star state title last year in Louisville. Coaches were Brad Williams, Cody Porter and Patrick McKee.
