Happy New Year everyone. It’s so hard to grasp that another year has ended.
I heard a preacher on the TV last Sunday morning talking about the year 2020. He reminded us that 2020 means perfect vision.
Nov. 18-Dec. 1
Well this week they started us out with a new game. It’s called the Elevens game. I think Leslie made up the rules as we went along. We really enjoyed it and had a great time. It’s good to just get around a table with friends and play some good honest games.
The children were all excited at the Maben Public Library on Dec. 20 because it was getting close to Christmas.. We read “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
The Louisville Chamber of Commerce presented Cookies with Santa at Market Cafe on Thursday, December 5, 2019. This event allowed children of all ages to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus at no cost. The children also enjoyed a variety of cookies and hot cocoa. Overall, there were about 50 children who visited with Santa and Mrs.
Santa got the letters but the Journal did not receive in the mail until after Christmas.
I have dreamed of Billie Eilish tickets to a concert!!! I would cry if I got some!! I would like to add that to my list!! That’s the main thing on the list tho!! Please!! I really want some soooo bad!!
The Winston Garden Club enjoyed their annual Christmas party at the Lake on Dec.19th. The members had a delicious meal and exchanged Christmas ornaments. Anna- Grace Woolery entertained the members by playing beautiful Christmas music on the piano.
