Thanksgiving was our theme Friday! We read a story titled “It’s Thanksgiving.”
It told of all the fun things that are enjoyed at Thanksgiving. Some of them were visiting with family, cooking and eating food, helping set the table and bringing in firewood because there is so much to be done that day. We should always be thankful but especially on Thanksgiving Day!
The children made a turkey and wrote on the feathers some things they were thankful for. It was mostly their family. We then had a Thanksgiving feast and I think they were thankful for all the food: mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce, turkey, rolls and cookies. A special thanks to all who brought food and happies.
