Storytime was great as the children came to Webster County Public Library on Sept. 4.
The children love the time they get to play with friends before Ms. Anita starts storytime. Everyone sang the traditional “Hello Song” to welcome each one.
Then the children participated in a few fall activities, including walking a line with a leaf on their head, and catching falling leaves. They sang “Put Your Apple on Your Head” while putting a plastic apple on top of their head.
Ms. Anita read ”There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed Some Leaves” followed by craft time during which the children decorated a tree with yellow, red and orange pieces of paper representing fall leaves.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
