The Eupora Rotary Club recognized senior Addison Mason as Rotary Student of the Month from Eupora High School at its Feb. 4 luncheon.
She was introduced by Teacher of the Month Tyler Gray.
At EHS, Addison is a member of the Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club, Drama Club, Interact Club, Future Business Leaders of America and Biology Club.
Addison has been a softball player and cheerleader for six years each. She now serves as captain of the cheerleading squad.
Her awards and honors include highest average in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 11th grades; scholar athlete for softball in 2015; best defensive player in slowpitch (2018) and fastpitch (2019) softball; slowpitch softball state champion 2015; South Half 1A-2A slowpitch softball state champion 2018; Starkville Daily News honorable mention for fastpitch softball 2019 and MHSAA 1A-3A Gameday cheer state champion 2018.
Allison is reporter for Eupora Juniorettes, of which she has been a member for five years. She is also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where she is active in all activities as well as the youth group.
Addison plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in kinesiology with plans to become a physical therapist.
