The Eupora Rotary Club recognized senior Hallie Ashley as Rotary Student of the Month from Eupora High School at its Jan. 21 luncheon.
She was introduced by Teacher of the Month Rebecca Crimm.
Ashley is president of the Student Council, recording secretary of Eupora Juniorettes, secretary of Biology Club and the first trumpet in the high school band. She is also a member of the Interact Cub, Mayor’s Youth Council, Beta Club, FCA and Drama Club. She has served as her class’ vice president for the past two years.
Ashley is also enrolled in and has completed AP and college classes. She has attended Mississippi State University’s Summer Scholars on Stage Production and Writer’s Camp for the last three summers, and will attend her third consecutive Ole Miss Honor Band this spring.
Ashley sings in the choir at Lollars Grove Baptist Church and is one of the teachers for children’s church. She has been accepted at MSU, where she plans to major in educational psychology.
