Pat Ray returned to the Webster Public Library for our Halloween party Oct. 31. She was as excited as the kids were to see each other, everyone dressed in their favorite costume. They visited, played, and took pictures before storytime. Everyone gathered together to sing "Pumpkins in a Row", "Trick-or-Treat", and "Purple People Eater" before the story. Ms. Pat read "The Spooky Wheels on the Bus" by J. Elizabeth Mills with the help of the children.
After the story, the parents and grandparents treated everyone to a party celebrating Halloween and honoring Ms. Pat for her time at the library hosting storytime.
As the children left, they were given candy bags from the library and from their friends along with a picture of a yellow school bus and Halloween stickers to decorate at home.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
