By Sis. Linda Dempsey Highways & Hedges Worship Center Greetings in the name of our Lord! Oh, praise God for that marvelous grace that he gives to each one of us. That unmerited favor that we don’t deserve. Why the Lord loves us so, it’s hard to understand. We all have failed him in so many ways. I was reminded of his word in Psalms 139:17, 18 — “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! “If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.” Also in Psalms103:14 it says, “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” The 17th verse says, “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children.” The 18th verse says, “To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.” Friends, we need to know more than ever that we can trust the Lord! I want to share this with you today. My mother had someone come to her house that had been exposed to the COVID-19 virus and when I found out about it, I really got upset, but God spoke to me and said, “Why are you worried?” I had to ask God to forgive me because I say I trust him so I need to practice the word. God is faithful. Psalm 91:2 says, “I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” God bless you all!
