I’m sorry I missed last week; I just had a lot going on.
We are in revival this week and it started off with the anointing and the power of God. Our evangelist started with a profound message on Sunday morning. Bro. Danny Williams gave us the title of his message and caught many off guard. It was called “What’s Worse Than Going to Hell?”
Right away we are wondering what could be worse than that. He went on to say it’s taking your children and grandchildren with you. But it could be any family or friends.
Because the life we live before them makes a statement. Are we living a righteous life before them or could someone tell the difference between us and the sinners out in the world?
We read the story in the Bible in Luke 16 about the rich man and Lazarus, where both died, the rich man went to hell and Lazarus went into Abraham’s bosom (heaven). It says that the torment was so great that he asked Father Abraham to send Lazarus to his father’s house to tell them about that dreadful place.
O, friends, we all have loved ones that are lost and undone. Are we living a life that shines with God’s glory in our lives? Are we truly the light that we need to be or is there sin in our life? Sin won’t enter heaven!
The Lord paid the ultimate price for our salvation. He loves us today.
