Hey, I hope this word today will minister to your need today. Our deepest need is to have Jesus as our Savior. But we also need reassurance from time to time.
I read this story of a man that was having to take an airplane flight and a little boy was seated next to him. The little boy was so calm, just coloring in a coloring book that the airline gave him.
But then a storm came up and the wind began to toss the airplane around like a kite in the wind. Everyone was afraid but the little boy.
A woman across the aisle asked him if he was afraid and he said no, he wasn’t. The lady wanted to know why. He said, “Because my daddy is the pilot.”
Boy doesn't that say a lot! We need to know that our Heavenly Father is the pilot in whatever we are going through and he will take care of us.
Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Be of good cheer; God is still on the throne.
