By Pastor C. Michael Haas Jr. Fame Church of God Well, what a hot week! Stay cool. Drink plenty and don’t overdo it. It can be dangerous to your health. We finally got the lawnmower fixed, so I could cut the hay out there. The grass is really growing right now! Brother James and Brenda Mason always seem to stay on top of their yard, always having one of the best manicured yards we pass by every week. Looks great, and so well groomed. We had a wonderful Sunday. We started our first Sunday school service back this week, which now a.m. We have moved our starting time for church back to a.m. for introduction, invocation then singing God’s praise. It sure was great to have more normalcy in service with Bro. James Mason, who did an excellent job, of course, on the Sunday school lesson. We enjoyed our time of singing together. Bro. James played so beautifully. First Lady, my wife Mrs. Amanda, was out suffering from a migraine. Most likely from us working too hard and long outside in the heat on Saturday. I think we overdid it. We had a wonderful message from God this week. It is time to be a chain breaker. Break every chain that stands in our way to do what God has called us to do. Time for breaking through into a new dimension of growing closer and reaching deeper in the things of God. Remember, coming from the book of John, ask whatsoever you will in the Father’s name and he will do it! Church, it’s time to seek God like never before; it’s time to pray like never before. The word of God says. “Ask and it shall be given, seek and he shall find, knock and it shall be opened you.“ Please keep Mrs. Clemmie Whitaker, Mrs. Eva Mae Poe, Mrs. Karen, and Mrs. Avent and granddaughter in your prayers. We love you all. Have a blessed week. And, if you’re close to our area, you can listen in to the services each Sunday morning from your car on radio station 88.5 FM beginning at 9: a.m. each week. Also, if your preference is to attend, the church is open as well. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you soon. God bless and have a great week.
