Well, it has been a hot week but not for long. According to the news we’re about to get some cooler weather. I’m so looking forward to that.
I have so much to get done outside, but with working in the heat all day, when I get home I just don’t feel like even being outside. I was able to muster up enough energy to cut the church yard Thursday night. I also finished up weed-eating and blowing around the church and cemetery Saturday afternoon.
We had a wonderful service Sunday. It was just a blessing to be in God’s house and experience his blessings. We had great time of worship. I truly enjoyed our special music, plus a wonderful selection of hymnals. It was just a humbling time in God’s house.
I preached from Genesis 25:19-34. I could not go into much detail from this text because God reveals so much from these few scriptures. But I will say you are God’s favorite. He chose you and he has big plans for you. You have been given those talents for a reason. He wants to bless you.
But you will have to obey him and move toward him. Be sure to be a blessing and leave a legacy of blessings for the next generation, etc. Remember, God loves you and wants to bless you. Follow him and he will direct your path.
Have a blessed week; Godspeed.
P.S. Please remember to pray for T.J and family. And remember to pray for the family in general. If Satan can destroy the family he will destroy a nation.
