What a wonderful week we had last week. It was a little cold, but much better weather when you work outside every day, especially since we where doing tree cleanup with chainsaws! Chainsaws have a tendency to keep you all warmed up.
Sometimes because we are all so busy we need to remember to support our local businesses. Ever since we moved in the parsonage back in July, it sure has been a blessing to have Chris Reed, his mother, Mitzy, and family to reopen the Clarkson Store.
Not only is the store convenient, they cook great food, and are always going the extra mile to make sure they have everything thing you need and want. Sometimes even going as far to give you their very own stuff just to make sure you are a satisfied customer! We have had so much going on lately, I forget to write about them
This has been a great Sunday. We had a great lesson by Bro. Mason about Jesus’ disciples and their belief in him by faith that he is truly God.
We also had a beautiful worship service, and to top it off we had an amazing sermon by our very own missionary, Chris Morgan, who wears many hats such as a professor of English and Bible.
He shared with us many personal stories that richly blessed ours hearts, of how God’s grace reached down and saved and changed many lives through his many years in missions through Korea, the Philippines and Cambodia.
These were amazing transformation stories of our amazing God. To top it off he delivered a wonderful message of God titled “God’s Ugly Plan,” in which God sent Jesus to redeem us back to himself through the ugly, gruesome death of God’s very own son, Jesus, upon the cross, bringing freedom and redemption to the world!
God bless you all until next week. God bless and have a great week. Please add to the prayer list T.J.’s sister Irene and this urgent request to pray for her very sick husband Joe.
