Good morning everyone. What a wonderful week it has been. This Sunday was such a beautiful day filled with warm sunshine and the love of our Heavenly Father. This Sunday morning during my morning prayer and time with the Lord before church, from the desk in my study, I was meditating on how the angels had come down to communicate with God’s people during specific times in the word of God. As I was quietly thinking, I could noticed a gentle tapping sound at the window. At first I started to ignore the sound and continue on, but something told me to look and see what it was making the sound. When I peered out through the blind, there he was, staring back at me. It was the cutest little bird. The bird made eye contact with me. My movement of opening the blind didn’t seem to startle him at all. As I looked at him, he chirped. It was as though he was talking to me. I felt like I could hear God saying that he still hears our prayers, and still speaks to his people confirming with me that anything is possible with God. The sermon this week was about faith and miracles. It also spoke of many women in the faith, and taught us how many mothers turn to God in prayer for answers concerning their children. We can see through scripture how God honors faith and obedience, and of how he answered prayers and performed miracles for those mothers. The message was about 10 different women who God used through faith, with faith and by faith to transform lives, summed up in one word, miracles. Even in trying times and some of the most difficult times, God would see them through. So, I say to you today, church, he still works such miracle and nothing is impossible with God. My God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. If you are a mother, we honor you this Mother’s Day. You are the vessel that God uses to shape the next generation. If the church isn’t careful to continue to teach and train children in the way they should go, there won’t be a church. They are the church of the next generation. We must continue to raise them in love and the ways of the Lord. Big shout out to all mothers, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY. A true mother’s love is unconditional. If you have a mother, honor her. If you were raised by a godly mother, thank God for her. Many mothers have raised some of the best children. Many also have raised up some of the most amazing evangelists and ministers. Let’s continue to do just that for our next generation. Continue to lift up Ms. Clemmie Whitaker in prayer as she continues to recover. Remember, if you live in or near the Fame Church community, you can listen in to our Sunday morning services each week on FM 88.5 during this time of social distancing. If live within three-fourths of a mile of the church, you can hear it from your home. If you live farther than three-fourths of a mile away from the church, simply pull in to our drive-in service, which begins each Sunday at 11 a.m. and tune your radio to FM 88.5 to listen in. Stay safe and God bless you all.
