Hello, everyone. Trust you all had a great week. Well, all sick folks are well; thank you Lord. Praise God we are all feeling well.
We had a great Sunday. Bro. James taught a lesson about the great stature of man Daniel was and the faith he had in the Lord. And, how if we trust in God and put our faith in him, the Lord God will truly bring us through. It was a wonderful lesson.
Worship service was beautiful. God’s presence just permeated the sanctuary, just a thick sovereign move of the Lord that truly blessed our hearts.
The sermon that the Lord gave us was from Luke 8:22-25, or also Matthew 8:23-27 and Mark 4:35-41. All give us the details that day of how the disciples were in a sticky situation. The Word says as they went out in the boat with Jesus and while traveling along a great storm arises.
Their situation becomes quite immeasurable to the point the Bible says they were taking on water and they were now in jeopardy. They wake up Jesus, who is a sleep in the bottom of the boat.
Jesus says to his disciples, “O ye of little faith.” He stands up, rebukes the storm, and the winds and seas obey his commands. Jesus delivers them all from this great storm.
Just like in life we must trust God, for he will deliver us. He loves us more than we can imagine. He says in the Word if he clothes the flowers of the field, if he takes care also of the birds, how much more you are to him. He will provide and protect if we will simply call out to him. He is our refuge, our fortress, our strong tower, our God.
Psalm 34:17-20 summed up is he will deliver his people out of all. So trust God; lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways trust God and he shall direct our path.
God bless you all and have a great week. P.S.: Help me, agree with me — let’s pray for the rain to stop for now and a short time so that many can recover or be saved, amen, from all this messy weather, which has kept so many from working, and all this flooding. Be blessed.
