Witches, a mermaid, a shark, a police officer and many other costume-adorned children invaded the Webster Public Library on Oct. 30 for storytime.
They played a Halloween game to knock over the ghosts, and sang the “Hello Song,” and “Scarecrow, Scarecrow” before Ms. Anita read “The Night Before Halloween.”
The children finished the storytime by making a scarecrow face to take home. They also took home candy bags courtesy of the library and some of the parents.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
