In Wax

6th graders at Ackerman Elementary School have been working extremely hard on their 6th Grade Wax Museum.  Students chose a person to research, and then they presented their information to other students at AES, staff, family members, and community members.  Students did a great job on their presentations, and there was an amazing turnout

6th graders at Ackerman Elementary School had their end of the year celebration, and it was a blast.  Students enjoyed a water slide, outdoor games, and Mexican for lunch!

Louisville students participate in Hackathon at USM

The iD 8 Hackathon, a mobile app development hackathon, is designed to broaden participation in computing by promoting computer science skills among African-American high school girls. During the two-day event, teams used Code.org’s App Lab platform to design and code their own apps and heard talks from a lineup of inspiring speakers.
