Officials at Itawamba Community College have released the honors list for the 2019 spring semester. Local students named to the president’s list, which includes those with a 3.8-4.0 grade point average, were Chase Alexander Hays of Eupora, Jessica Renee Davis of Maben, Jared O’Neal Starks of Mantee and Tyler Lee Crimm of Mathiston
East Webster Elementary students Easton Caldwell, Naomi Winter, Armani Harmon, John Austin Myers, Rae Hamilton and Gibson Johnson won bicycles in a drawing for having perfect attendance second semester. EWE thanks Oswalt’s Building Materials for the donations of the bikes.
Academic and technical students at Holmes Community College with exemplary quality point averages are recognized at the end of the fall and spring semesters by being named to the President's or Dean's List.
To be eligible for such recognition a student must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.
Kylie Richardson was awarded Webster County School District’s Student of the Month for April at the May 13 School Board meeting. She graduated May 19 from Eupora High School. She is accompanied by the board, superintendent, attorney and principal as well as her parents, Kyle and Amanda Richardson.
