Eleven excited Pre-K children arrived at Webster County Library on Oct. 2.
They played and visited before it was time for storytime. Ms. Anita led them in singing the “Hello Song.” They had several activities to help them get moving.
They walked on a straight line with a leaf on their head and on their hand, and sang “5 Little Leaves” playing with silk leaves as they sang. These activities seem so simple but are great for coordination for Pre-K children. They also sang “Way up High in the Apple Tree” and “Put Your Apple on Your Head.”
Ms. Anita read “Biscuit Visits the Pumpkin Patch” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli.
After the story everyone decorated a fall scene with stickers, their favorite activity. Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
