The Eupora Rotary Club recognized senior Kyla Patterson as Rotary Student of the Month from Eupora High School at its March 5 luncheon.
She was introduced by Teacher of the Month Rebecca Crimm.
At EHS, Kyla serves as vice president of the Student Council, class secretary and Beta Club secretary, and is a member of the Interact Club and Biology Club. She is captain of the Eupora Lady Eagles basketball team, and a member of the Pride of Eupora marching and concert band.
Her honors include highest class average 2018, Rotary Youth Leadership Ambassador 2018, Merit Student, Region 2-2A All-District Team 2015-18, EHS Lady Eagles Eagle Award 2017-18 and marching band bronze medal award.
Kyla is also youth and children’s dance coordinator at Liberty United Methodist Church.
She plans to attends Millsaps to study in the pre-health program with a major in biology and a minor in psychology.
