Well we had just a little rain that kept us in the Maben Public Library Friday. We read “The Runaway Pumpkin” and made torn paper pumpkins.
Instead of trick-or-treating Main Street, some of our businesses brought the candy to us.
Participating this year were Maben Post Office, Waddell Insurance, Maben Auto Parts, Swank on Main, FJH Realty and Olde Town Bakery. The children had lots of fun, got lots of candy and enjoyed a great Halloween party.
For dress-up we had Raggedy Ann, Dragon, Belle, Tinkerbell, Witch, Minnie Mouse, a scarecrow, a couple of unicorns and a Buzz Lightyear.
