This past Friday morning, the 131 members of the Louisville High School Class of 2019 took a final walk-through of the schools which have been a major part of their lives and have done so much to shape them into who they are.
The walk-through began as the seniors arrived at Fair Elementary School at around 8:30 and made their way into the kindergarten hall. Students and teachers lined the hallways, applauding and cheering the seniors as they walk by, many of the seniors have begun their education in that very hall.
The walk continued across the street to Louisville Elementary, then to Eiland Middle School and finally back to Louisville High School for the completion of the journey. A number of the students spoke of memories that the walk brought back.
LHS Principal Hilute Hudson stated that the walk-through is important as a reminder to the seniors of just how far they have come, and to the younger students as a symbol of where they can go.
The LHS Class of 2019 will graduate this coming Friday evening, May 24.
