Eupora High School held its annual Merit Banquet on April 30. Recognition is given at the end of each school year to students in grades 9-12 who have earned 30 or more merit points.
These students willingly participate in the merit program, and bring credit to themselves and the school by being actively involved. These students may earn merits for their academic achievements and/or participation in extracurricular activities.
With over 80 merit students and almost 40 percent of the 2019 seniors achieving the status of merit graduate (120 or more merits from ninth-12th grades), EHS is delighted to share these students’ accomplishments.
Students in sixth-11th grades who have the highest and second highest GPAs are also recognized at the Merit Banquet. These students work hard to be at the top of their class.
Along with all of these wonderful acknowledgments, numerous seniors won awards for leadership, grades, community service, and extracurricular activities such as clubs and sports.
The community has been an amazing support system for our graduates, allowing them to further their education. We are proud of each and every student at Eupora High School. We encourage all to participate in the coming year.
