East Webster Elementary hosted its first Spring Fling STEM Family Night on April 4 in the school gym.
It was a great success, with 225 students and over 400 people in attendance. The event consisted of different booths involving either science, technology, engineering or mathematics activities. Students rotated through the stations with their parents, completing experiments or participating in demonstrations about fun STEM concepts.
Thanks to all the teachers and staff for their hard work. Many guests came and helped with booths such as TVA, MSU chemistry and anthropology departments, 4-County Electric Power Association, Webster County Soil and Water Conservation, and others.
“We cannot wait until next year,” organizers stated.
