Members of Mrs. Cauthen’s and Mr. Lock’s Health Science and Sports Medicine programs at Choctaw County Career and Technology Center recently competed at the Northern District HOSA Conference at Millsaps Career and Technology Center in Starkville, MS.
Students competed in a variety of Healthcare related events. These events included Healthcare Display, CPR/First Aid, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Health, Medical Photography, Human Growth and Development, Clinical Nursing, Veterinary Science, Pharmacology, Medical Terminology, and Personal Patient Care. Along with competing in their individual events, students were given the opportunity to meet with representatives from some of the Mississippi colleges.
The following students will advance to the Mississippi HOSA State Conference in Jackson in March.
