For Dr. Seuss Week, we read “Green Eggs and Ham” at the Maben Public Library on Friday. He has a lot of rhyming words in this book.
The book also teaches children that even if they think they don’t like something they won’t know until they try it. I didn’t have any problems with the children I had today.
All of them liked green eggs and ham! They had fun making Dr. Seuss “Cat in the Hat” hats and eating green eggs and ham. We played the song “Green Eggs and Ham,” and in it the music gets faster and faster!
Friday we had Nathan, Aiden and Courtney Scerbak; Lilli Cate Anderson and Linda Stidham; Kaylyn Davis and Patricia Pilkington; and Joshua, Lydia, Mason, Sadie and Marylea Thornton.
