Lyndell Boatman from Eupora High School and Mackenzie Turnage from East Webster High School are recipients of the Eupora Rotary Club’s Student of the Year scholarships.
Each graduated in May and received a $1,000 award from the club, having previously been recognized as a Rotary Student of the Month during the 2021-22 school year. Both were members of the Rotary-sponsored Interact Club at their respective high school.
Lyndell, son of Kevin and Sue Anne Boatman, plans to attend Holmes Community College and begin his degree in business. Mackenzie, daughter of Heather Gilbert, plans to major in kinesiology at Mississippi State University.
