MABEN — The Maben Public Library had a nice visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on Dec. 13.
The children got to listen to a story read by Santa about the baby Jesus being born on Christmas Day.
They colored a picture of Santa and glued cotton balls for his beard and hat. Then most of the children wanted to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas and to get their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Hopefully they have been good this year!
We had a great group of children last Friday, 18, too many to name.
We will have Storytime today, Dec. 20, and then be off for two weeks. We will be closed Dec. 24 and 25t for Christmas, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for New Year's, and Jan. 2 and 3 for inventory. So come get plenty of books to last through the holidays!
