Services for Ruby Gordon Reid, 72, of Ackerman were Jan. 13, 2025, at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church near McCool with burial in the church cemetery
She was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Louisville to the late Owen Gordon Sr. and Doris Zane Kennedy Gordon. Mrs. Reid was a banker and a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. She died Jan. 7, 2025, at Choctaw County Regional Medical Center in Ackerman.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Reid of Ackerman; three daughters, Andrea Eaves of Sturgis, Holli Mitchell of Pontotoc and Allison Riley of Starkville; four brothers, Owen Gordon Jr. and Ralph Gordon of McCool, James Gordon of Noxapater and Robert Gordon of Collierville, Tennessee; two sisters, Brenda Cagle of McCool and Jennifer Kilgore of Ackerman; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
